In a world where we have access to unlimited information about anything and everything at our fingertips sometimes it can be hard to cut though the misinformation about nutrition, the fad diets, outdated research, old beliefs about food and what is purely people's opinions. Most importantly, what is overlooked far too often is that we are all individuals and we each have very different genetic makeup, nutritional needs and varying digestive capacity.
What foods and eating habits may have helped one individual feel great, vibrant and even lose weight, may not be the best foods for you and your body type or may even make you feel worse. This can be frustrating and confusing as some foods labeled as 'super foods' or the latest fad eating habits may make you feel unwell despite the fact that you're hearing everywhere that these foods are the key to health, youth and unlimited energy. Enlisting the help of an experienced, qualified Clinical Nutritionist can help you cut through the misinformation about nutrition and give you tailored advice specific to you and your situation. Get your health holistically assessed by a Clinical Nutritionist and make a start on your journey to health, better energy levels and overall vitality.

Thanks Kim, Just wanted to say I haven’t felt this good in years! Changing my diet, and going sugar free was the best move. I just feel great!
Such amazing and professional advice.
You won't find a Nutritionist like Kim anywhere! He is a perfectionist at heart with so much passion for what he does.
Thank you for helping me with all the advice I needed when I made the decision to go vegan, you have helped me in so many ways.
I saw Kim last year to work through some health issues I had been experiencing around lack of energy. I found him very approachable and very easy to talk to. Kim provided me with a number of options to ensure that anything he suggested fit into my vegan lifestyle. This level of understanding really made me feel comfortable working with Kim.
I have used Kim for both personal and fitness based consultations. I can't recommend him enough for his friendly and personalised approach to finding the best nutrition for individual needs. As someone who is prone to falling back into bad habits, I would definitely recommend contacting ICN to work out a plan to head towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.
Kim is very understanding and kind, but he is firm when he needs to get you to comply with the protocol. Kim was fantastic at guiding me through FODMAPs and advising on dietary management with his gut protocol. He helped me immensely with my IBS and I finally feel great again after 10+ years of dealing with this. I am so grateful!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer private health rebates?
Yes, the majority of private health funds in Australia accept Nutrition consults and offer rebates for our services. Please check our 'Private Health Rebates' page or contact us to see if your fund offers rebates.
Do I need to bring anything to my initial consult?
Prior to your first appointment we will send you out a client intake form to fill out and send back to me. If you have any recent blood test or other pathology testing results these are always helpful, especially if they relate to your presenting complaint/issue.
What can I expect for my initial consult?
Generally I ask a lot of questions about your current health condition and any related info to that, we also go over some past medical history, dietary questions, lifestyle questions and some others. Then, we can work out a plan of how to modify your diet and lifestyle to make positive changes and supplements if required. You'll also be provided with a detailed treatment plan with tailored advice for you.
Are your consults able to be claimed on NDIS?
For those who are 'self managed' or 'plan managed' you can claim for Nutrition consults. Our treatment is evidence based and we work on goals to support your specific condition(s).
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we understand that plans change and life can sometimes be unpredictable. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice before your appointment you will not be charged. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a fee of 50% of your appointment cost.
Do you charge a callout fee for mobile consults?
No, I service an area of approximately 20 kms of Clear Island Waters on the Gold Coast. Outside of these areas I suggest using our online video calling platform.
How can I make payment?
Payment is due at the time of your appointment, I use a Tap-and-Go Squarereader, alternatively cash or EFT is accepted.
Do you work with chronic disease management?
Yes, absolutely! We use an evidence based approach that considers the latest scientific research to manage and/or treat chronic disease/health conditions. Specifically, type 1 and 2 diabetes, epillepsy, Crohn disease, IBS and many others.
